DME Expands its Comprehensive Line of Hoist Rings

Host Rings
Madison Heights, Mich. – April 28, 2008. DME Company has expanded its line of hoist rings to encompass eight different groups of lifting products covering all hoisting needs for moulds, tools and dies.

The new additions include small and compact units with very high lifting capabilities and a stainless steel version ideal for clean-room environments. Another introduction is the TSR-type ring that prevents hooks from scraping tools when in traction at 90-degrees. The new SEB-type is ideal for multipurpose use, and the DSP-type is equally effective with ropes and small hooks.

“DME is committed to providing products for the growing number of applications our customers are involved in.” said DME Product Manager Alex Fletcher. “This extended hoist ring line, and all of our new product introductions at K 2007, solidify our promise to being an essential resource to our customers and their continued success.”

All DME hoisting products have a safety factor of five times the rated load, exceeding European regulations of four times. The hoist ring line features pivots and swivels to compensate for pitch, roll and sway when lifting heavy or unbalanced loads and are made with high strength alloy steel with minimum tensile strength of 1.250 MPa (125 kg/mm2).

Every DME lifting product is proven compliant and is supplied with CE Declaration of Conformity. For worldwide use, metric and UNC thread-types are available.
