DME Hires New Managing Director – European Operations

Mechelen – February 26, 2008 – DME Europe is pleased to announce the appointment of Denis Poelman to the position of Managing Director – European Operations effective January 2008.

Denis has more than 20 years of experience in operational, sales and marketing leadership. Prior to joining DME, Denis was the Managing Director of Office Solutions, a management firm in Belgium where he provided council in the areas of business and sales development, general management and human resources.

Denis’ diverse experience ideally positions him to lead DME’s European operations. His strong background in sales and market development and his mastery of the Dutch, French, German and English languages will be instrumental in DME’s continued commitment to being an essential resource to customers and the industry across Europe.

“I am confident that under Denis’ leadership, DME is poised to be the premier distributor of mold technologies in Europe,” said Dave Lawrence, president of DME Global Mold Technologies. “Denis will be able to leverage his knowledge and experience to understand our customers’ business issues and challenges and to identify ways that our people, products and technologies can help them solve their molding and moldmaking needs.”

Denis is assuming the role previously held by interim Chief Operating Officer for DME Europe, Alex Rosenzweig.

“I am excited to be part of the DME Europe team. Over the next few months, I’m looking forward to meeting many of our customers, expanding my knowledge of the moldmaking industry and exploring new opportunities and markets for DME,” Denis said. “My goal is to leverage DME’s global products and capabilities to bring the best mold technology solutions in the world to companies across Europe.”

Poelman will have responsibility for all of DME Europe including its industry-leading sales, service and operations. He will report directly to Dave Lawrence.
